Our Process

Phase 1. Need assessment & Ideation

After identifying the client’s core needs, goals, and constraints, AIAI uses our comprehensive business-technical analysis process to develop and present a list of reasonable alternative concepts that can be further advanced and evaluated as well as a list of concepts that we considered but rejected

Our added value: AIAI's team brings deep technical and commercial knowledge to develop innovative, risk-weighted concepts that ensure the full potential solution space is explored to find options that others may well miss by trying to identify a single option too early in the process.

Phase 2. Planning & Preparation

Through a 3-stage process, AIAI refines the list of alternative concepts to a single solution that best meets the risk and business requirements, with the intent of preserving optionality where possible. For this solution, we provide all the chemical, engineering, operational, budgetary, environmental, implementation and regulatory details needed to bring this idea to life.

Our added value: AIAI's team have collectively led or supported many projects through this refining and winnowing process and associated capital project authorizations as the owner's team, and have a global network of experts to compliment the core teams as needed

Phase 3. Execution & Preparation

Converting the plans into a living solution in two parallel processes of project construction and cold commissioning and operational readiness and hot commissioning, AIAI can either lead as the client's owner's representatives or support the client through this intense Phase as needed based on the client's individual circumstances. Operational readiness includes all the operational, commercial, legal, regulatory, and organization building required to fully exploit the project as quickly as possible

Phase 4. Optimization & Feedback

Once the execution phase is complete, AIAI can support the client as needed to optimize the new facilities and businesses by monitoring the KPIs and deeper process indicators that give deeper insights than just the KPIs, identifying gaps and constraints, and working with the client's team to ensure that the planned strategic goals are met now and into the future as the global environment changes. This could involve repeating the process to bring optimization or expansion projects to life.
